SALES SURGE FOR STOKVIS CONDENSING BOILERS

Stokvis Energy Systems Econoflame R300 range of floor standing condensing boilers is selling at record levels. This compact, lightweight unit for commercial and industrial applications uses the latest technology to give extremely high efficiencies, seamless output modulation, along with ultra-low NO_x emissions.

The Econoflame R300 series of pre-mix gas fired boilers has seven models with peak outputs ranging from 75kW to 274kW, each one has full stepless output modulation. All the models in the range exceed the Part L Building Regulation requirements and are ECA listed. The R300 range incorporates the unique Stokvis design of premix, water cooled, bi-metal burner offering higher efficiency than atmospheric models. It also gives a more compact unit with a small footprint and smaller flue diameter.

Stokvis reports sales success particularly at the smaller end of its pre-mix Econoflame condensing boiler range. Managing Director Ivan Thompson believes demand is high because the R300 is especially useful for situations such as multi boiler applications where a number of units are arranged in sequence, offering optimum efficiency, and flexibility.

“In many installations today we are dealing with very small boiler houses and the R300 with a tiny footprint, starting at just 635 x 500 mm, is ideal,” remarks Ivan Thompson. “The push towards condensing boilers from Part L of the Building Regulations and future regulation changes are also helping generate sales – this is now a rapidly growing sector.
